APCs cover costs associated with editorial management, peer review, production, online hosting, archiving, and indexing. This policy ensures that all articles remain freely accessible to readers worldwide.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The current APC for manuscripts submitted to IJCEO is USD 1849 for standard research articles. Charges may vary depending on the article type, length, and complexity.
APCs are payable once the manuscript is accepted for publication, after completion of peer review. No submission charges or handling fees are applied.

- Editorial assessment and peer review management
- DOI registration via CrossRef
- Professional typesetting, formatting, and copyediting
- Permanent archiving in Portico, LOCKSS, and PKP PN
- Indexing in global databases
- Website hosting, maintenance, and open access dissemination
Additional Charges
In special cases, additional charges may apply for:
- Extremely long manuscripts (over 12,000 words)
- Excessive use of color images or multimedia files
- Optional language editing or professional proofreading services
Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. In general, APCs are non-refundable once peer review has started or after acceptance, except in cases of duplicate payment or technical errors.
Waivers and Discounts
IJCEO offers waivers or discounts for authors from low- and middle-income countries, early-career researchers, and in cases of financial hardship. Waiver requests must be made at the time of submission and are subject to editorial approval. See the Waiver Policy for details.
